History and Social Studies Teacher (FTE 0,7-0,8) (Temporary)
International School Hilversum is looking for a teacher of Social Studies and History in their Middle Years Program (MYP). We need a qualified and experienced Social Studies and History (humanities) teacher to replace a teacher on leave.
- You have a recognized (DUO) teaching qualification.
- You live within easy reach of Hilversum (public transport or car - free parking on site).
- You are familiar with the international baccalaureate and have experience in the MYP.
- You have a Dutch Passport or an existing working visa for the Netherlands.
- You are professionally fluent in English.
- You are able to produce a VOG (clearance certificate).
- You can provide at least two recent references.
- You will be expected to teach 18 lessons, Grade 7 and 8 Social Studies and Grade 9 History.
- You will work Monday - Thursday and you can also be asked to take cover lessons and do break duties.
- You will work as part of a team and collaboration is essential.
