International School Hilversum had the pleasure to participate at Haarlem Model of United Nations 2019, on "Inclusive societies: giving all people a voice and future" which took place at Stedelijk Gymnasium in Haarlem, The Netherlands. The school participated with 17 students, representing Kazakhstan and Japan but also we had one of our students selected for the International Court of Justice!! The conference provided the chance to our students to follow a number of workshops; new delegate, public speaking, chairing but also one from Nyerode University on personal branding and cultural differences!
During these three days the students debated on a number of issues, supported opinions with which they disagreed, improved their public speaking skills, made amendments, learned to cooperate and found common grounds for synergy. At the end Oliver Guffens was awarded best delegate in Commission on the Status of Women and all students made new friends. Congratulations to all students for their hard work and look forward to see them in the next MUN!!.
