Procedure for parents of prospective bilingual students (secondary school)
Please read the “Admissions Policy” of the school to ensure you are eligible for a place in the bi-lingual section.
Parents have the opportunity to attend the parent information session on the bilingual VWO on Tuesday 24 January at 19.30. In addition, the school opens its doors for prospective students and their parents on Saturday 4 February from 9.30 until 12.00.
The number of students in the bilingual VWO class for the school year 2017 – 2018 will be limited, as a result of the school's available capacity. In the event we are unable to accommodate all suitable applications, student placement is dependent on the outcome of a type of lottery, known in The Netherlands as 'doorloting'. Brothers and sisters of current students, and with a suitable profile will take priority in the placement process.
In the event we are unable to offer students a place at the International School Hilversum, students will automatically be placed in the bilingual MYP programme at Laar & Berg in Laren.
